Despite having a home at Warner Bros.’ animation department, Storks surprisingly has nothing to do with the sprawling Lego Movie franchise department. Instead, it’s a new comedy from Nicholas Stoller, and has just put out its first teaser trailer.

Stoller, the man behind films such as Bad Neighbours, The Muppets and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, does have some animation experience, having providing additional material to DreamWorks Animation’s Turbo. But he’s collaborating on this one with Pixar veteran Doug Sweetland, who directed the company’s Presto short.

Little is known about the exact plot for Storks, but the trailer has Kelsey Grammer’s boss birds showing off what he claims is an efficient, mechanical new system to take the place of traditional baby delivery. We’d imagine there could be some conflict between the old and new methods, but that’s for a future synopsis or trailer to expand upon.

Joining Grammer in the voice cast for this one are Andy Samberg and Keegan-Michael Key, and the movie itself lands in UK cinemas on October 14 next year.
