Producer Barry Kemp has bought a screenplay set in the world of NASCAR racing. The film will be developed by Kemp’s production company, Bungalow 78 Productions, from the script by Jason Jordan and Matthew Lawton (National Lampoon’s Pledge This!, Blue Collar TV). The story will centre on an up-and-coming young driver who’s been dropped by his sponsor; he must team up with a female cosmetics executive to get back on top of the game.
