A History Of Violence director David Cronenberg has found his next film. He’ll helm Maps To The Stars, a darkly comic drama about Hollywood power and intrigue.
Bruce Wagner wrote the script. "You could say it's a Hollywood film because the characters are agents, actors and managers, but it is not a satire like The Player," Cronenberg told Variety. "Bruce is brilliant about writing characters in this world, and I'd wanted to do something with him for ages." This will also mark the first time the Canadian director has shot in the USA.
Filming is planned for later in the year.
