Stanley Tucci in Transformers: Age Of Extinction

If 1986's Transformers: The Movie's soundtrack sang about having "The Touch", Michael Bay's most recent robot battle movie, Age Of Extinction had The Tucc. And now The Last Knight will also have it, as Stanley Tucci has confirmed that his ambitious scientist Joshua Joyce is returning.

Bay has recently been spotted filming scenes in London for the new movie, which has also shot in Cuba, Arizona, Scotland and Michigan, with Chicago location work still to be completed. Not much is known about the story for this one, save the usual conflict between Optimus Prime's Autobots and Megatron's scheming Decepticons, but the story will apparently intersect with that of King Arthur, given Liam Garrigan's recent casting as the legendary warrior king.

As for Joyce, it's not yet clear how he'll fit in, though he ended Extinction on the side of right, helping Mark Wahlberg's Cade Yeager and friends, so expect him to remain an ally in The Last Knight. At least unless a better offer happens along...

Tucci joins a cast that also includes Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael, Laura Haddock and Anthony Hopkins. Transformers: The Last Knight will storm on to our screens on June 23 next year.
