Hot on the heels of news about Terminator 3 comes an update for another movie franchise, Indiana Jones. A report in today's Variety has Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford in talks with Sixth Sense director M. Night. Shyamalan to write the script for the next Indy movie. If true, this would mean Spielberg and Ford have knuckled down to the business of bringing the fourth outing of Indy to fruition. The source for this story suggests that Shyamalan will begin writing Indiana Jones in early 2001 with a view to the movie starting production in 2002. Spielberg is still the only person being touted to direct the project and Harrison is set to reprise his role as Indiana.
