With her Spaced co-star Simon Pegg already well into film production on his own movie, Jessica Stevenson has secured a deal with New Line Cinema to write and star in a comedy spy movie. Double Au Pair, will feature Jessica in the title role as the black sheep of a spy family who, according to Screen Daily, 'uses her new job as a British ambassador's au pair as a gateway to an imaginary mission and takes the children on a real life espionage adventure.' New Line's vice president of production, Chris Godsick, was wowed by Stephenson's and Pegg's comedy Spaced. 'On my first trip [to the UK], someone gave me a copy of Spaced,' he explained, 'and I liked it so much I requested the second season. On my next trip back, I met with the team and started talking to Jessica. She settled on the idea for Double Au Pair. 'We think we've tapped into an undiscovered gem who can become a worldwide star.
