Sophia Loren has been admitted to a New York hospital after experiencing an irregular heartbeat.The 63-year-old actress suffered the arrhythmia while visiting a friend in New York and will remain in hospital for a few days for observation purposes. Some reports said that she'd suffered the attack while visiting a plastic surgeon. Both her publicist and her husband have denied this, saying she's just overworked. She will not now be attending the Venice Film Festival, where she was to receive a special award in honour of her career.
