Sony Pictures Classics is bringing a curse upon the West. The company has snagged the rights – for America, at least, which bodes well for the rest of us - to Zhang Yimou’s House Of Flying Daggers follow-up Curse Of The Golden Flower.
Yimou is filming right now on the tale that stars Chow-Yun-Fat and Gong Li as a king and queen who endlessly battle for superiority over each other and their three sons.
There’s no release date set for the film yet, and no word on when/if it’ll make it across to Blighty. But given Daggers’ success, we doubt there’ll be much of a delay.
