Four actors have joined the cast of the currently-filming Son Of Morning, an independent comedy about a young man who gets mistaken for Jesus Christ.

Jesse Bradford, Steven Weber, Bob Odenkirk and the great Bernard Herrman (Max from The Lost Boys) have signed on to the satirical comedy, which stars the annoyingly precocious 22 year-old Joseph Cross (who also produces) as an ad copywriter who returns home after his parents divorce, only to find that, following a series of environmental disasters, he’s mistaken for Jesus Christ.

Bradford will play an agent trying to capitalise on Cross’ newfound fame, while Weber will play a politician trying to do the same. Odenkirk will play a co-worker, while Herrmann will play his mentor.

They join an already excellent cast, including Heather Graham, Stephen Root and Lorraine Bracco, that bodes well for the quality of the script, by the movie’s director, Yaniv Raz.
