Mulder joins sex, lies... sequel

Steven Soderbergh is powering ahead with the casting of his next movie How To Survive A Hotel Room Fire. According to several internet reports today, the latest person to be tapped by Soderbergh is the with the casting is David Duchovny. US Weekly confirmed yesterday that the X-Files star has signed on the dotted line to do this unofficial sequel to Soderbergh's debut sex, lies and videotape. It's unofficial because nobody really knows what the plotline will be or whether any of the original characters will be returning. Duchovny will be joining Catherine Keener (last seen in Being John Malkovich) and Frasier's David Hyde Pierce in the movie.
