A few weeks ago, in the days before The Expendables' release, Sylvester Stallone was hoping it would do well enough to "open a little more liquidity in funding the sequel". Now that it's officially a palpable hit, nailing the highest-grossing opening weekend of Stallone's career, those bucks are clearly more or less assured, and Sly is gaining confidence and forging ahead. And he wants Bruce Willis to be The Expendables 2's main villain.

"Had dinner with Bruce Willis last night. I want him in Expendables II as a super villain. What do you think?", Tweeted Sly on his brand new Twitter account. Bruce, you'll recall, was Mr Church, the mysterious spook with the impromptu pseudonym who sets The Expendables on their explodey course. Is Stallone planning to develop the man behind the smirk, or keep him shady? Could the mystery of his identity be part of the plot? Will The Expendables be going after Church for revenge?

No answers; just questions. One respondee to Sly's feed suggested [SPOILER] bringing Steve Austin back from the dead as his character's twin brother. "That's exactly what Bruce suggested!" was the answer. "Damn, do I have to battle that monster again!!!!!!!????"

And a few hours later, he was musing locations: "What would be the most dangerous places in the world to set the sequel?" Suggestions included South Africa, North Korea and Thailand. Harry Knowles suggested "Afghanistan, Iran or Milan". Nobody has yet mentioned Newcastle's Bigg Market on a Friday night.

What say you, dear reader? Do you want to see more Bruce? And where should **Expendables II **be headed? Sly appreciates your feedback. But while you're plotting, bear in mind these words of wisdom from the man himself: "The hardest part of making action films is attempting to inject heart and soul. Bullets are easy. Emotions are hard. Like life itself." He said before that he was planning something "radical". Maybe it'll also be deep...
