Simon Pegg and Nick Frost took their comedic partnership from small screens to big, but for those who still want them to be on TV after Spaced, there's good news. They're working on a new show called Truth Seekers for Amazon's Prime Video service.

The show is a horror comedy series about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see. However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race. Frost will play Gus, who is part of the team, while Pegg is Dave, whose character is a little more mysterious.

With a script written by the main pair alongside Nat Saunders and James Serafinowicz, Jim Field Smith will direct the show, which comes from the duo's Stolen Picture company. There's no word on a launch date yet, but the first season will comprise eight episodes.
