Shia LaBeouf Signs For Dark Fields

Shia LaBeouf has signed up to star in the distinctly strange sounding Dark Fields, based on the book by Alan Glynn.

The film, written by Leslie Dixon (Hairspray) and to be directed by Neil Burger (The Illusionist), is described by Variety as a 'techno thriller' and will put LaBeouf in the role of a young man who finds a pill that makes him extraordinarily smart and leads to a series of unusual events. We think it's some kind of veiled promotion for cod liver oil.
