The Shape Of Water Up For Several Critics Choice Awards

The Shape Of Water

It's that time in every awards season when the Critics Choice Awards muscle in to announce their sprawling set of nominees. As per usual, the wider net thrown means more movies and those both in front of the camera are up for recognition, with The Shape Of Water leading the pack, closely followed by other potential winners Call Me By Your Name and Get Out.

There's scope for winners from films that Oscar probably wouldn't even consider beyond technical categories (sorry, War For The Planet Of The Apes, Andy Serkis may not show up in the Best Actor Academy Award race) and potential justice for some (Patrick Stewart up for a well-deserved acting nod off the back of Logan).

You can find the film categories below. The ceremony will take place on 11 January.
