Great Scott! Christopher Lloyd looks quite a long way from Hill Valley in I Am Not A Serial Killer, a murky new thriller based on the 2009 book of the same name by Dan Wells. We’ve got our hands on an exclusive new poster.

I Am Not A Serial Killer

Set in the American Midwest, it centres on a sociopathic teenager obsessed with murder, who finds himself tracking down an actual serial killer in his hometown while attempting not to be tempted down a violent path himself.

Lloyd plays Crowley, the mysterious older gentleman and potential serial killer, while 17-year-old newcomer Max Records plays the brilliantly-named John Wayne Cleaver.

The film won plaudits at its South By Southwest premiere, and was a hot ticket at the recent London Film Festival, with comparisons to Donnie Darko being loudly whispered. An intriguing cult classic in the making, then.

Directed by Billy O’Brien, I Am Not A Serial Killer arrives in cinemas and on VOD platforms from 9 December.
