Every doomed royal woman needs a mother and now Natalie Portman has hers for The Other Boleyn Girl.
Kristin Scott Thomas will play Portman and Scarlett Johansson’s parent in the historical drama. The plot follows the hugely ambitious Boleyn sister as they compete for the heart – and other bits – or King Henry VIII (Eric Bana). We all know how the story ends: Anne won her man, but lost her head.
Director Justin Chadwick will start shooting next week here in Blighty.
