Showing again that animated films can attract casts way beyond the wildest dreams of their live action cousins, DreamWorks have just announced that Martin Scorsese will perform vocal duties in Sharkslayer, their latest CGI offering. He joins an already impressive group of vocal talent that includes Will Smith, James Gandolfini, Angelina Jolie and Renee Zellweger. Scorsese will voice puffer fish Sykes in this "underwater mob film", the story of a young fish found at the scene of the murder of the local godfather's son. He makes the most of the situation and poses as the titular sharkslayer. Sharkslayer is slated for release in 2004.
