Stuart Townsend is on the verge of grabbing two new thesps to join his WTO protest drama Battle in Seattle, which we first reported on waaaaay back in 2004 (see that story here for Townsend's plans at that time).

And this time they’re not – like Charlize Theron - people he can just roll over to in bed and ask to star in the movie. Well, unless Susan Sarandon and Fantastic Four’s Chris Evans have some really interesting casting stories when the junket rolls around.

More information is also leaking about the documentary-flavoured film, which Townsend wrote and will kick off filming in Vancouver and Seattle on October 23. Theron will play Lou, a pregnant woman innocently caught up in the troubles who ends up losing her baby and seeing both sides of the story. Sarandon is negotiating for the role of a news reporter who becomes incensed by the treatment of the rioters, and insists that her editor stop sensationalising her reports. There's no word yet on Evans' role, but we'll keep you up to date as we learn more.
