Sarah Polley and Adrien Brody are to star together in Splice, a sci-fi thriller being prepped by Vincenzo Natali. The screenplay has been written by Natali, Antoinette Terry Bryant and Doug Taylor.
Polley and Brody will play a pair of young scientists who become, as the Hollywood Reporter describes them, "superstars" as a result of their experiments into DNA splicing, which creates a number of new fantastical creatures. Unmindful of the ethics of their work, the pair start to introduce human DNA into their experiments. Dun-dun-DUUUHHH.
