Despite leaving Buffy behind Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn’t seem to be able to shake the supernatural stuff.
She’s already been struck by The Grudge and has a cameo in The Grudge 2, while her next film will be spooky thriller The Return.
Now she’s signed on to another disturbing tale with Addicted. Based loosely on the 2002 South Korean film Jungdok, the plot sees a woman whose hubby and brother-in-law both end up in comas after an accident. But when her in-law wakes up, he claims he’s her true husband. Insert your own dramatic music here.
Directing team Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist (who shot Swedish film The Invisible) will call the shots on a screenplay by Queen Of The Damned’s Michael Petroni.
