In talks for a new George Clooney production

Sandra Bullock Says Our Brand Is Crisis

Given how much they learned about crisis while working on Gravity together, it hardly seems surprising that Sandra Bullock would end up in a George Clooney-produced film. And so it has come to pass, with Bullock in talks to star in **Our Brand Is Crisis.

Actually, the pair discussed the idea while on the long slog of press tours for Alfonso Cuaron’s space thriller. Crisis is adapted from Rachel Boynton’s 2005 documentary, which saw President Clinton’s former advisors James Carville and Stan Greenberg applying what they had learned in the trenches of American politics to a campaign in Bolivia, and the effects it has on the process.

Despite the close relationship between Clooney and Bullock, this is far from a done deal. With the success of Gravity (and The Heat) still fresh, Bullock’s naturally being courted for several movies right now and Crisis is just one of them. Still, with Argo duo Clooney and Grant Heslov producing, it’s got to be an attractive proposition. Will it be her next film? Unlikely, but expect it to stay a healthy possibility for the future.
