Sandra Bullock has taken a brief break from screens since Bird Box, but she's already at work on one film and has several in development. She's also now on to star in and produce romantic action adventure The Lost City Of D.
If it all comes together, Bullock would play a romance author who discovers that a fictional city she had written about is real, prompting her to embark on a risky journey to find the city. According to Variety, the plan is for this to mark a reunion between Bullock and her The Proposal co-star Ryan Reynolds, though there's no deal in place for him, and his schedule is pretty full right now, so nobody is holding their breath.
The original idea for the film came from Horrible Bosses' Seth Gordon, but he's neither writing nor directing – those jobs are split between Dana Fox and sibling directors Adam and Aaron Nee, with Paramount backing the production.
