The call sheet for The Perks Of Being A Wallflower continues to expand, with Paul Rudd and Nina Dobrev now signed up alongside Emma Watson and Logan Lerman for the adolescent relationship drama.

Adapted by Stephen Chbosky from his own novel, it's the story of a shy teenager negotiating the emotional peaks and troughs of high school, pouring out his tales of sex and drugs and mix-tapes and The Rocky Horror Show to an anonymous penfriend.

Lerman and Watson are being described as the leads, but Dobrev's is apparently "a much sought-after role"; she'll be playing Lerman's sister. Fresh from The Vampire Diaries, she's the second actress with a high-profile TV CV to be cast, following Parenthood's Mae Whitman, who's playing Lerman's tattooed vegetarian first squeeze. Rudd, meanwhile, is up for English teacher Bill.

Chbosky, donning yet another hat, is also directing, with none other than John Malkovich among the producers. Shooting starts next month in Pittsburgh.
