Roma Maffia, who’s been seen in the likes of Holes and I Am Sam – but probably best known as the sarcastic nurse Liz on Nip/Tuck – has signed on to indie film Ghost Image.

The distinctly White Noise-alike thriller sees a woman suddenly able to communicate with her deceased boyfriend through the wonders of video footage. What, no way the Orange phone team could make it via video messaging? Someone call marketing!

Writer/director Jack Edward Snyder is busy making the movie in St Louis.
