Roberto Gets His Kit Off…Almost

Ah, mad Italians: there’s nothing better to lift the spirits on a Monday afternoon, and even more so when it involves them taking their clothes off on telly. Oscar-winner Roberto Benigni treated Italian news viewers to a bit of a strip on Saturday to mark his new Iraqi-war film The Tiger and the Snow (presumably because war and taking off your clothes are so closely intertwined). Fortunately for the famously stuffy viewers of Italian prime time television, Benigni’s so-called “striptease” consisted of unbuttoning his shirt during an interview and draping it over the newscaster’s shoulders while laughing. That’s ker-a-zee.
