Director Claire Denis has said since working with Robert Pattinson on High Life that she'd want to team up to up with him again – and she isn't wasting any time, as Pattinson and Margaret Qualley are now attached to star in Denis' next film.

Deadline brings word that A24 has snapped up the US rights to the film, which will adapt Denis Johnson's 1986 novel. The story will be set in 1984 during the Nicaraguan Revolution. It follows a mysterious English businessman and headstrong American journalist who strike up a passionate romance. They soon become embroiled in a dangerous labyrinth of lies and conspiracies and are forced to try and escape the country, with only each other to trust and rely on.

Denis is crafting the script with Lea Mysius and Andrew Litvack (the latter also worked on High Life), but there's no word yet on when she'll start shooting – especially since Pattinson is busy on The Batman and Qualley has agreed to star in new horror pic Head Full Of Ghosts. Still, the combination of the three is certainly a tempting one.
