Thanks primarily to the social media powerhouses that are Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, we know the main cast for the new Jumanji follow-up now in production in Hawaii. They'll be joined by two new arrivals, Rhys Darby and Morgan Turner.

With Johnson and Hart already working alongside Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Nick Jonas, Jumanji will continue the story that began with the 1996 original, and it all springs from Chris Van Allsburg's book about a mysterious board game that has the ability to trap unwary players and can unleash a horde of wild plants and animals into our world.

Darby, a reliable comedy performer seen in films such as What We Do In The Shadows, will play a character called Nigel. Turner, a veteran of movies such as Remember Me and TV dramas including the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce has scored an unknown role.

Directed by Jake Kasdan, the new Jumanji will be with us on July 28 next year.
