Zellweger denies trying to prevent release of 'saw 4

Jerry Maguire star Renee Zellweger says the suggestion that she was behind the decision to delay the release of her debut movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation is 'ridiculous'. Columbia/TriStar say the actress is 'ashamed' of her performance in the low-budget horror and has done her utmost to make sure it never sees the inside of a projection booth. "Does anyone think me, little me, can actually convince a studio to hold up a movie?" Zellweger told the New York Post. The film, which also stars Matt McConaughey, will be released on 29th August in the US, but in only fifteen cinemas. Just as well, really; it's rumoured to be pretty dire...
