Kenneth Branagh's Thor cast just can't stop growing, or becoming more interesting with every new addition. The latest making the trip to Asgard is Rene Russo, who is set to play Frigga (stop sniggering at the back, there!)
Frigga (look, we're warning you) is the wife of Norse god Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and stepmother both both our hero (Chris Hemsworth) and his evil brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
She'll probably be rather upset when her son is banished from Asgard for reigniting an ancient war, but somewhat pleased when he learns what it takes to be a hero while stepping up to stop Loki invading Earth.
Branagh kicks off shooting on Marvel's latest next month with a release date set for May 2011.
