Rebecca Hall is clearly ready for some fresh horror after appearing in Holmes And Wat... Sorry, The Gift. She's now snagged the lead in a scary-sounding new thriller called The Night House.

David Bruckner is directing Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski's script, which finds a widow (Hall) uncovering some very deep and dark secrets about her husband, who recently died.

Bruckner will kick off filming in May, while David S. Goyer, no stranger to genre movies, will act as executive producer.

Hall is currently at work on Godzilla Vs. Kong. which will stomp into UK cinemas on 22 May, 2020. She'll move from that on to Passing, which she adapted and will direct, starring Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga.
