Rebecca Hall Searches For Liars

Rebecca Hall is in talks to join the new Richard Linklater comedy Liars, as Britain's current hottest acting export adds yet another name to her increasingly impressive resume.

She'll play a girl dumped by her rock musician fiance the night before Barack Obama's was elected President. She takes a road trip with a friend (Kat Denning) towards the Inauguration ceremony, stopping off with various exes along the way to pick up items she'd left with them. Phew: it's been less than a year and we've already got Obama-linked movies happening.

Hall's worked with Woody Allen, Ron Howard and Chris Nolan already; and turned in impressive performances in **Starter for Ten **and the recent Dorian Gray, so we're guessing she'll fit in well with Linklater, very much an actor's director. The next film from him in the meantime will be Me and Orson Welles, due out in December.

There's no word on a start date for this one yet, but we're guessing it'll be soon.
