Rapper LL Cool J is further expanding his acting career with a role in Die Hard director John McTiernan's remake of Rollerball, which is set to net him over a million dollars. Cool J (real name James Todd Smith) has recently starred in Deep Blue Sea and the forthcoming Oliver Stone American Football flick Any Given Sunday. He joins American Pie actor Chris Klein in McTiernan's version of the ultraviolent 1975 sci-fi film. The futuristic thriller will star Klein and Cool J as members of a Rollerball team who come into conflict with the corporation that is running the world, and the sport which unites it.
