Rampage’s Jason Liles Playing King Ghidorah In Godzilla: King Of Monsters

You may not have seen his face, but Jason Liles was a key part of Rampage, bringing George the albino gorilla to life in the film. He's bringing his performance-capture expertise to another big beast, becoming one of a team working as King Ghidorah in Godzilla: King Of Monsters.

King Ghidorah, in case you're unaware of his work, is a giant golden kaiju with three dragon-like heads and huge wings. He'll be just one of the monsters popping up in the movie to present threats to Godzilla. According to The Wrap, Liles will be the middle head, with fellow performers Alan Maxson and Richard Dorton to either side, and more of their colleagues playing the body. It sounds like a complicated procedure, but will hopefully result in an effective beast.

Michael Dougherty is now in the complicated post-production process on the film, which he wrote with Zach Shields. The human cast for the film includes Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sally Hawkins and Bradley Whitford. The movie itself will be out on 22 March next year.
