Ralph Fiennes looks set to star in a new big-screen adaptation of Graham Greene's autobiographical novel, The End Of The Affair. Set in war-time South London, it's an analysis of the progress and painful disintegration of an affair between a man and the wife of his best friend, based on Greene's own experiences. It was previously filmed in 1954 and starred Peter Cushing and Deborah Kerr. Neil Jordan will direct this version and has written the script. Fiennes is currently in Budapest filming The Taste of Sunshine.
