In all the news about Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, one element has yet to feature – whether Rachel McAdams will be back as Dr. Christine Palmer. According to Deadline, she has now made a deal to reprise the role.
McAdams played Benedict Cumberbatch's medical colleague and former flame, who rather gets left behind when Stephen Strange heads out on his mystical quest. One of the small shortcomings of the film is that it doesn't really find much for her to do – perhaps the sequel will remedy that?
Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor should also be back as Wong and Mordo, and The Baby-Sitters Club's Xochitl Gomez is a new addition, while Elizabeth Olsen will show up as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. With Sam Raimi in the director's chair, the movie should be shooting soon and is scheduled for release in March 2022.
