Anna Faris has taken the lead in Smiley Face, a new comedy to be directed by Mysterious Skin’s Gregg Araki.
The plot will see Faris as Jane, who scoffs her psycho roommates pot-filled cupcakes by accident, and must spend the day trying to replace them, while also trying to land an audition.
Dylan Haggerty wrote the script for the film, which starts shooting in January.
