Prinze Eyes Spidey

Current king of the teen flick, Freddie Prinze Jnr has his eyes on the coveted role of Peter Parker. In an interview this week with the Boston Herald the actor told how he had turned down the X-Men while 'hoping instead to play one of his real superheroes such as Peter Parker.' Prinze may have a fight on his hands. The Spiderman role is a plum one which a host of young actors have their eyes on. Names from Jude Law to Heath Ledger have been linked with the part, while there are also those who say that Sony wants an unknown for the part. We'll have to wait and see.
