The shortlist for this year's European Film Awards has been announced and while the UK hasn't a soul in the Best Actor category, the sisters are doing it for themselves with no less than three out of five British actresses in the Best Actress category. Helen Mirren scoops a nomination for Calendar Girls, Anne Reid is in the frame for The Mother and Charlotte Rampling earns a nod for The Swimming Pool.
