V For Vendetta star Natalie Portman has joined the ranks of Yanks who dodge the unfavourable UK exchange rate: "London's not the best place to shop," the actress said. "Us poor Americans can't afford it!" The nightlife doesn’t work out either as Natalie says that when she’s filming she doesn’t go out so much, because otherwise she can’t focus on set the next day: "I don't go out when I'm working because I can't really keep it together. I'm more interested in seeing movies in my spare time." Still, at least she can grab a bite to eat in between takes: "The food in England has improved!”
