She's been known as the MCU's Mantis, but now Pom Klementieff is ready to accept a new mission. A Mission: Impossible, that is, two of them to boot. M:I writer/director Christopher McQuarrie announced the news via Twitter.

Klementieff will be playing a role in the next two films of the franchise starring Tom Cruiseas endlessly active agent Ethan Hunt, who trots around the globe listening to self-destructing recordings, stopping nefarious schemes and risking life and limb in the process.

McQuarrie has been overseeing the movies since 2015's Rogue Nation and confirmed back in January that despite his intention to step away, he'll be back for the seventh and eighth entries, following in the successful footsteps of last year's Fallout.

The two new films will also see the return of Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust and we can expect to find Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames back too. Joining Klementieff in the franchise newcomer ranks is fellow MCU veteran Hayley Atwell. Mission: Impossible: Insert Subtitle Here (AKA whatever the seventh film ends up being called) will be out in 2021, followed by the eighth entry in 2022.
