Secret service agents are clearly the new hot item for Hollywood thrillers. We’re already about to get Sentinel, starring Kiefer Sutherland and Michael Douglas as presidential protectors and now Lost’s Matthew Fox and Dennis Quaid and are signing up to put on the suit and attach a wire to their ears.

They’re negotiating to star in Vantage Point, which is described as a Rashomon-style thriller that shows an attempted presidential assassination from five different points of view.

Pete Travis, who helmed TV drama Omagh, will call the shots from a script by Barry Levy. Expect glossy production values – The Fast & The Furious producer Neil H Moritz is also involved.
