Shock! It's an animation awards and Pixar has swept the nominations. That screeching sound you hear is presses around the world grinding to a halt. Okay, so perhaps it's not surprising that The Incredibles has scooped a total of 16 nominations for the International Animated Film Society Awards (or 'Annies', if you will), but it is well deserved. Following on from their nine wins last year for Finding Nemo, Pixar have been placed in the running for Best Animated Feature, Best Director and Best Music among others, including best Voice Acting for Samuel L Jackson's Frozone. The Incredibles weren't the only happy campers though, because Shrek 2 and Shark Tale were both similarly lauded, though to a lesser extent, garnering seven nods apiece. The full list of nominees can be found here. Go nuts.
