We'll be the first to admit that it's not been the most bounteous week for news, and it looks like today will be no different. Still, rather than bring you a selection of actors you've never heard of joining projects you couldn't possibly care about, we thought you might enjoy some good old British wartime fun. With pigeons. Yes, a new trailer for Valiant is now available, giving us a glimpse at the WWII animated tale of winged vermin sticking it to the Boche. From the producer of Shrek, this is still very much a homegrown tale with Ricky Gervais, Jim Broadbent, John Cleese, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Williams all contributing to the voice list. Ewan McGregor takes the lead as Valiant himself, a particularly unimpressive pigeon who nonetheless signs up to do his duty and becomes enlisted in the RAF. Despite a diminutive wing span and a hapless manner, Valiant finds himself entrusted with the most important mission of the war: carrying dispatches that outline the Normandy landings. There's not too much revealed here and it's in godforsaken Windows Media format but it's well worth a look. Click Here.
