Chris and Paul Weitz, the latest sibling team to hit the big time with their hit American Pie, have secured a new project with Paramount, according to this week's Variety. The pair are to shoot I Was made To Love Her, based on Warren Beatty's 1978 flick Heaven Can Wait, which was itself based on the original 1943 version, directed by Ernst Lubitsch.

The Weitz's take on the story, about a man who dies before the afterworld is ready for him, is to star Chris Rock as a comedian who gets killed by a bus, only to be returned to life in a different body . Rock has already earned his wing in the celestial stakes as the prophet Rufus in Kevin Smith's Dogma (out December 26).
