Pfeiffer Kidnap Fear

Life in the public eye isn't always a bed of roses as Michelle Pfeiffer and her director husband David E Kelley are discovering. The couple have been forced to put in extra security around their American home to protect their seven-year-old adopted daughter Claudia Rose. According to Globe Magazine, a woman claiming to be Claudia Rose's mother, has contacted the couple in an attempt to extort money from them. Apparently upset by the child's celebrity status, the woman also asked a private detective to find out where the couple live and what school their daughter goes to. A friend of the couple speaking to the press said that 'Michelle and David are very concerned. The FBI told them to take this matter very seriously.'
