The Persuaders, the TV adventure series with the highest mismatched buddy concept of all (one’s a street smart Brooklyn chancer, the other’s an upright English lord!), ****is well on its way to the big screen, with a writer just hired to flesh out a script.

David Dorfman, who wrote Anger Management, will pen the screenplay based on the show that saw Tony Curtis and Roger Moore lovin’ the ladies, livin’ the high life and lockin’ up the criminals.

There’s no word on a director yet – or anyone being cast – but frankly we’re in no hurry. We’re still hoping this won’t be another Avengers debacle.
