Jeff Bridges and Gillian Anderson are set to join Simon Pegg and Kirsten Dunst in next year's adaptation of Toby Young's memoir, How To Lose Friends & Alienate People.

Bridges, who's currently mongering metal as the evil Obadiah Stane in Jon Favreau's Iron Man, will play Vanity Fair editor and glossy mag big-wig Graydon Carter, while Anderson will appear as a member of Manhatten's PR elite. As previously reported, Pegg will play the hapless, celebrity-obsessed journalist Sidney Young, with Dunst due appear alongside him in a currently unconfirmed role.

How To Lose Friends...charts Young's mid-90's tenure as a member of the Vanity Fair editorial staff and his several disastrous run-ins with Carter.

Filming begins in London and New York at the beginning of next month. The movie is due for release at some point next year.
