Anything can become a movie these days. Even the collected columns about a man’s life with his dog.
Fox 2000 has picked up the movie rights to Marley & Me, Philadelphia Inquirer columnist John Grogan’s memoir of life with his Labrador retriever.
The project has a successful pedigree: Grogan's book is on the New York Times bestseller list and will be translated into 10 languages, which proves that people around the world just can’t get enough of stories about cute dogs. The plot will cover Marley’s 13-year life and focuses mostly on the chaos he brought to Grogan’s home.
