With the recent likes of Donald Glover's Guava Island, the worlds of concept albums and short films have continued to collide. The latest mash-up between short film and album comes courtesy of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and director Paul Thomas Anderson, who have teamed up to create Anima, which has a first teaser online.

Netflix is launching at least the short film element, but as the teaser might clue you in, details are scarce at this point. All the streaming service will sat is it's "a short musical film" and "a mind-bending visual piece. Best played loud". Gotcha.

The short arrives on the streaming service on 27 June (with another sneak preview in IMAX cinemas – no word on whether that'll be outside the US – on 26 June). The album will drop the same day as the short. This marks the latest collaboration between Anderson and Radiohead, as fellow band member Jonny Greenwood is his regular composer, and he's directed videos for them before.
