Patrick Dempsey, currently best known for appearing in Grey’s Anatomy, has snagged a deal to star in Sony’s new rom com Made Of Honour.
It features a bloke (Dempsey) asked by his dream woman to be his maid of honour. He accepts the job hoping to prove his love to her before she heads down the aisle.
The script’s based on a spec treatment penned by Adam Sztkiel, though it’s since been through the re-write factory at the hands of Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont, who last brought us Surviving Christmas. Now there’s a reason to celebrate if ever we heard one.
